Baishizan Jokei Temple
14th of the 33 sacred places visited during the Rakuyo Kannon Pilgrimage in Shonai
Keigaku Taisho established the temple on land where the feudal castle stood belonging to the lord of Amarume, Abo. The temple was constructed in the Nanbokucho period. Handwritten scrolls by Monpon Baisan from 1416 are stored here as treasures.
