Tateyama Park Cherry Blossom Festival
This festival is held at Tateyama Park, which is known for cherry blossoms.
Every year in mid April this festival is held at Tateyama Park, which is well known for its cherry blossoms and a panoramic view of the Shonai Plain.
In addition to the local specialties, grilled Pacific herring and grilled pork, there are also other events including a ground golf tournament and karaoke contest.
The Tateyama Night Music Festa 2015 will be held this year on the 25th (Sat.) from 6:00 p.m. The cherry blossoms will also be illuminated, so the festival can be enjoyed at nighttime, too.
